Throwdown in T-Town Race Results

Thanks to all the racers and spectators that came out to the Spring Throwdown in T-Town. We had a good turnout for OT5R with 10 cars starting the 1st Round of eliminations and TRP packed the house with wall to wall race fans! Mike Kimmis set the pace at this race and broke Scott Lowery's record from last year with a 4.249 blast. Mike carried that momentum all the way to the winners circle despite having some issues with valve springs that were slowing him down a bit. He defeated Rusty Beaver in the final with a 4.302@177.30 over Beaver's off pace 5.109@149.550.

A number of our members were fighting technical glitches, but everyone was able to load their cars up in one piece after the race.

Congratulations to Mike Kimmis on the new Record and Win, and to Rusty on the R/U. Also thanks to all the family, friends and race fans that came out! Racers - Todd's working on points and we'll have those up soon...

Our next race is at Tulsa Raceway Park on June 1st and it's a Night Race. Put it on your schedule and hope to see you there!
